Why we’ve created this opportunity

We live and work in the context of increasing pace, complexity and uncertainty. Leading in these environments can be intensely challenging and unrelenting as we try to deliver strong organisational performance, meaningful impact for clients and build safe, engaging workplaces. We also have many other important roles in our lives that we combine with our demanding workplace leadership. This combination can pull us into overwhelm, reactivity and sometimes burnout.

Evidence-based research indicates that when leaders take time to reflect and refocus, we feel better able to lead with clarity, engage others effectively and deliver impactfully. With intentional support, these spaces enable us to better understand the drivers for our current state and to refocus on what matters most.

We work with many leaders who have found that taking time out to pause, connect and refocus can be an incredibly powerful way to sustain themselves in work and life and to grow as a leader.

This 2-day retreat creates the rare opportunity for up to 12 leaders to think deeply, reflect with purpose on how to navigate our work and our lives meaningfully and return with renewed focus and capacity to lead.

About the retreat

Join us for 2 nurturing and energising days amidst beautiful surroundings one-hour from Melbourne, where we create the space to build insights, refocus and re-energise in connection with other amazing women. Together we will explore:

  • What’s important and what’s noise in our respective contexts?

  • What patterns and ways of operating challenge us most and distract us from our purpose and goals?

  • What are the values and outcomes that guide and energise us?

  • What sustains us and keeps us focused on what’s most important?

The 2 days are designed to maximise meaningful insights and action commitments using structured activities, connected discussion, reflective spaces and evidence-based frameworks to build a transformational and rejuvenating experience.

In a beautiful, calming environment amidst nature, you will have space to explore, reflect, learn and create focused actions for taking yourself forward.  We also promise amazing food and lots of fun.

The approach used is based on a range of research-based practices that we have integrated into the design.
