Strengthening culture
to amplify value and impact
We worked with a multi-program and multi-site health provider to help them capture and strengthen their organisation’s unique culture and expected ways of working. The CEO’s aims were to address staff-reported challenges, elevate engagement and progress ways of working to increase impact over time. We engaged in many conversations and forums with a diverse range of the organisation’s people, learned about their ‘works in progress’ and examined existing people data. Working with a framework using key enablers for strengthening culture, we co-created a plan that prioritised culture enabling actions, reflecting what mattered most to its people and leveraging existing (but previously disconnected) activities/projects. The plan included governance and resourcing agreements and support to progress activities.

Employee retention insights to support organisational growth
We were engaged by a large and rapidly growing provider in the disability sector to help them identify insights and strategies for improving employee engagement and retention. Using a collaborative, qualitative research approach, the project created a deep understanding of the reasons for high turnover which was limiting the organisation's impact and capacity for growth. With these new tangible insights, we supported the provider to design strategies to improve employee retention.

Executive and operational re-design to better enable strategy alignment
We partnered with a medium-sized organisation in the education sector to re-design their structure to better position for growth and achievement of their new strategic plan. The process included multiple conversations and forums to understand current strengths, pain points and ideas; creating and assessing options for new ways of organising; and executive workshops to build plans and

Strengthening internal and board governance to improve accountability and decision-making
We were engaged by a recently appointed CEO for a community health provider to review and enhance internal governance and board reporting. Through engagement with board and organisational leaders to better understand requirements and preferences, we worked with them to re-design their overall governance approach. This was built around greater clarity of roles, information to enable better decision making and intentional accountability to stakeholders including their clients and community.
